We had some fun outings last week and I am loving that Ross is at an age where it is much easier to just pick up and go. Throw some Puffs and chew toys in my bag and we're good for a few hours!
On Wednesday we had a park picnic with some of our favorite friends, Carrie and Livi. The girls swung, climbed and dug in the pebbles while Ross mostly watched. Just a few more months, Rossy Boy, and I promise you'll get in on the action too! Bridget took all of a 5 minute break to take a few bites of a sandwich and gulp down a juice box before she got back to playing. I don't think anything wears Bridget out. She would have played there all day if I let her!
Big girls on the big swings!
Rossy Boy, just cracking himself up!
Making his favorite new face
On Saturday, some of our other favorite friends, the Baileys, called to tell us about a church carnival that was going on just a few minutes from the house. So, on Saturday night we were off the land of fried dough, rickety rides and interesting people. Bridget loved it and was literally dragging us along to see it all!
Poor Ross and Gabe...stuck in their strollers!
We started with two kiddy rides and then she insisted she wanted to go on the ferris wheel. So I sent her and Todd off with tickets in hand and waited for her to chicken out and change her mind. She waited quietly in line looking up as the ferris wheel spun round and round. Next thing I knew, she was flying in the air! She's a dare devil, so I wasn't too shocked that she went through with it, but I'm just always in awe of how big she is getting. When did my little girl become big enough and brave enough to ride a ferris wheel??
Checking out the ferris while waiting for her turn
She was up there!
This week is all about holiday and family fun! Holiday Season 2010, we are ready for you!!
