Strawberry Season

Yesterday we enjoyed just another Florida winter day...picking strawberries! About a year ago, a little farmers stand and u-pick farm popped up right next to our church and we had yet to check it out. The weather this time of year is just too perfect to pass up, but the same old driveway playtime was in need of a little pick me up. So, off to the strawberry fields we went!

I let the kids just pick and pick and pick without worrying about whether they were getting green ones, pink ones or red ones. But the really red and ripe ones that we did get were amazing! So juicy and sweet and perfect!

Kid tested and...approved!

We have strawberries coming out of our ears now, but I have no doubt we'll go back for more soon enough!

February Lovin'

February has been good to us so far. Birthdays, out of town guests, beautiful weather and a whole lot of Valentine love.

Our friend, Katherine, celebrated her 2nd birthday just a few days before Ross. Her milk and cookies party was perfectly sweet!

We came home from the party with our own jar of cookie ingredients. We wasted no time in baking them...and even less time eating them!

Ross is Two!

Long time, no blog. Busy as usual here, but for good reason. Somebody just had a birthday...Ross is TWO!

Since he loves football and since the Super Bowl falls so close to his birthday, we had a football themed party! I found so many cute and crafty ideas, it was hard to narrow down which ones to do. I was up many late nights the week before the party trying to get everything just right. I think he loved it all...I know I did:)

Presents came much later in the evening and he just loved his new scooter and helmet from Grandma and Grandpa. Talk about looking like a big boy...

Happy Birthday, Ross! Your sweet face, your big hugs and kisses, your funny faces and your big belly and big cheeks are just a few of our favorite things about you! You are the sweetest little boy and the best little brother! We can't wait to see how you grow and all the new things you will learn this year. YAY for two!
