Bugs, Ballet and a Big Boy!

I'm snuggled up on the couch tonight with my Sweet B, who earlier today out of nowhere came down with a stomach bug that has had her hunched over the toilet more times this afternoon than she ever has been in her whole little life. We're keeping our fingers crossed that this is nothing more than a 24 hour bug that no one else will catch...

Took my camera to ballet this week and did my best to get some shots through the glass window. If nothing else, I think it's plain to see what a fun, happy time all the girls are having with Miss Tracee!

Waiting on Fall

My silly sweeties have been plenty busy lately. We're mixing and matching Summer and Fall right now...decorating the house with some fall things and waiting for that first cool front, but at the same time still enjoying the pool and...hmmm, I think the pool is the only summer thing we're still enjoying! We're ready for a cool down and some real fall fun:)

We've dragged out every photo album we own in the last week. Bridget is just so amazed at her baby pictures and I must admit I am too! Can't believe she's getting ready to turn 4!

And Ross may be the only 19 month old who willingly goes to "Time Out" when I tell him to. He walks to the nearest wall and is perfectly content to just chill there for awhile. And yes, this particular Time Out definitely has something to do with the blue crayon in his hand!

We had a great weekend in Gainesville with Caroline! It's always fun to relive the glory days, but coming home to these sweeties was WAY better...

Helloooooo Weekend

The weekend couldn't have rolled around at a better time! Todd and I are off for a grown-ups only weekend in "The Swamp"! We haven't been up to Gainesville for a game since the year before Bridget was born, so we are more than ready for a weekend of tailgating, football and all the other good things that come with Gator games!

The kids are more than ready for some Grandma/Papa love too. I'm sure Ross will show off his newest accomplishment, temper tantrums...YAY! And Bridget will be living the good life knowing that at Grandma and Papa's anything goes. They'll have a ball, we'll have a ball. Win, win if you ask me!

And this week? Glad it's (almost) over:) Ross is 19 months and more than a handful these days...although I'm pretty sure I've been saying that since he was about 10 months old, so I not sure what I'm really in for with him! On the bright side, Bridget can't get enough of him. Loving him, playing with him, feeding him and being his best friend. I can only hope this amazing brother/sister love lasts them a lifetime!

I've been very busy this week keeping up with Ross, so my pictures are sparse...

An afternoon of cleaning out the linen closet led to to days of bed forts and sheet castles...but after 3 days of sheets laying ALL OVER my house, I packed them up for Goodwill!

It's not almost dinnertime if there isn't a mess on the kitchen floor. It's the only way I can get food on the table!

Ross likes to help himself to his own snacks and then eat them right out of the box. He's more than offended if I try to put them in a spill proof bowl. So, there he sits behind the curtains with a box of Cheerios!

My sisters have been hounding me for a new blog post, so I guess I better deliver! Just more of the usual, as usual...

One of our favorite things about our favorite time of the year is football season! College games kicked off last weekend and we wore our Gator orange and blue on Friday and Saturday. Ross is already gator chomping and throwing his hands up for touchdown just like Big Sister!

We spent ALL of Labor Day weekend in the pool. The kids have turned into little fish. Bridget is getting braver and braver in the water and Ross just wants to do whatever she does, so he's pretty adventurous too!

Now that Bridget is in school 3 mornings a week, Ross and I have a lot time together to just hang out. He loves a good game of hide and seek, is always up for another snack and loves to roll around on my bed and turn the clock radio on and off. And that pretty much sums up our mornings together!

Last year's Halloween costume has officially been moved to the dress-up box. Snow White is still her favorite princess!

She loves to "help" and play with Rossy. He loves it too...most of the time!

And my big girl is just getting too big. Always doing and saying grown up things and really making me wish she could stay just this age forever. But next month is another birthday and we are planning a Candy Land party for the sweetest girl we know!
