Only in Florida...

We're fortunate enough to live near both of our parents, which means I've yet to make my own Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoy spending Thanksgiving Day in someone else's cozy house-eating, drinking and ending the night with games and Christmas movies. So, since I'm not slaving away in the kitchen in the days and nights leading up to Thanksgiving, we're free to have fun the Florida way...at the beach!

Todd got off work early last night, so we packed a few bags with towels and toys and headed to the nearest beach to catch a Thanksgiving Eve sunset. It was extra special since Aunt Jody has been here all week and got to enjoy it with us! Even though we live so close to the beach, we really don't make it there too often. Weekends are often quickly filled up with household projects, birthday parties, grocery shopping and just the simple week to week tasks.

It was a beautiful night and living here certainly tops my thankful list this year.
