Today when I left work and said good-bye to my coworker, Mary, she shouted out, "Have a great night Jessica! It's such a beautiful day! Go home and play outside with Bridget!" I always listen to Mary, so here we are...(Did I mention it was a warm 80 degrees outside today??)

She ran all around the driveway with the watering can and poured it everywhere. It's the little things these days that are so entertaining to her. The watering can, an empty milk jug, a box of macaroni and cheese, our flip flops-just to name a few.
Wednesday was her 15 month check-up with the pediatrician. She is perfect(of course), although she once again screamed bloody murder the second the doctor started examining her. She really, really doesn't like him! She did not stop crying until we walked out of the building and into the parking lot. At which point she immediately turned off the tears and bolted for the parking lot. Grandma treated her to a sugar cookie lunch today to make up for her traumatic visit to the doctor. Thanks Mom!
I guess it's about time to join the blogging
bandwagon, so here we go...
Bridget is 15 months now and there is so much going on in her little head. Everyday she tries something new. She isn't much of a talker yet, but she is mover. She runs, she walks, and her current trick is spinning around and around in a cirlce until she makes herself dizzy. The usher at church calls her "The Runner" because she spends most of the mass running back and forth at the back of the church. This picture is a few months old now, but I love it so much. Just a little girl celebrating her 1st birthday!
She loves our dog Harley and my parents' dogs, Lulu and Jaegar. Harley has not been her usual self these days, so we try not to let Bridget get too rough with her, but she LOVES to chase Lulu and Jaegar.
Todd and I live for the weekends when we have the chance to do fun family things. Last weekend we took Bridget to the beach for Sunset and this weekend Chris and Jessi (the greatest friends and neighbors anyone could have!) are coming over to babysit her so we can treat my parents to a 30th anniversary dinner. She is a lucky little girl and we are so lucky that she is all ours!
