Beautiful Days

We have been doing nothing but enjoying the most beautiful weather. A cold front came and went leaving behind the most perfect November weather. It's comfortable any time of the day which means we can do long walks in the wagon, mornings at the park, play doh on the lanai and our still favorite outdoor activity...playing in the driveway!

Mornings always start on the couch with a cup of milk.

Hopscotch is the outdoor game of choice these days.

I've given up on trying to keep Ross confined to a blanket while we're outside. He's scraping up his knees and eating dirt, but hey...he's a boy, he'll be fine!

Photobucket
How's that dirt taste?

Just bossing us around as usual...pointing her finger and rolling her eyes. The teenage years should be great!

A morning at the park isn't complete without a snack break

And when we're not playing outside, we're playing Princess Memory. Oh my. We play this over and over and over. She loves it and I'm glad she's getting so good at it, but some days I have to hide it. Enough is enough!

Speaking of princesses, we celebrated our friend Lily's 3rd birthday weekend with a princess party. You may have thought you had seen the last of Snow White after Halloween, but no...we squeezed one more use out of that costume this weekend! The party was fabulous and Cinderella herself even made an appearance! It was so exciting and all the girls (and a few boys) loved her! It was precious to watch Bridget run up to her and really believe that this girl in a costume was a real life princess. We are going to Disney in a few weeks and I can't wait. It's going to be unbelievable!

We have a guest room to get ready this week. Aunt Jody is arriving this weekend for a long awaited visit. We can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving and kick off the holidays with her!
