Enjoying the Spring Things

Spring has sprung and I've been feeling to need to get out and enjoy every second of it. Before long, the temps will hit 90+ degrees and the only thing we'll be doing outside is swimming. While we wait for the pool to warm up, we'll be enjoying as much of the outdoors as we can. I feel like I've just turned a corner and instead of having one toddler and one baby, I have two toddlers. Two pack-up-and-go-anywhere-we-want kids. The bags I pack are getting lighter and my hands seem less full as we're out and about. I have just under a year and half before Bridget goes to kindergarten. A year and half to be on a flexible schedule and do want we want, when we want. Let the adventures begin!

Even my big kids still love to be pushed in the swings!

Both are daring when it comes to jumping and climbing

Ross wanted to play ball, but couldn't let go of his snack either. He's always torn between food and fun!

Today we FINALLY made our way to the Botanical Gardens. It is such a hike from our house, which is really why we hadn't been, but I knew we had to get there before it gets too hot. We were given a gift card awhile back for a yearly membership and I'm happy to say it will be getting lots of use this year. We had the greatest day and can't wait to go back!

The kids are ready to move into the little house. Bridget left a few times to "run errands", but mostly stayed put to sweep the floors and water the plants!

Elliot! Adventures are always more fun with friends! We can't wait for Elliot to break free from his stroller so he can run alongside his big kid friends!

I think the butterfly house was my favorite part

They deserved the popsicles for being so sweet!

Every corner we turned, was something fun and exciting

The cave was the first thing she told Todd about when he got home from work

Feeling extra grateful tonight about all the things I am able to do with the kids every single day. I hope they remember all the little and big things that make up our days together!
