Our trip to Louisville was all about seeing family. No beachside resort, no fancy hotels, no over the top amusements parks. Just aunts, uncles, cousins and great grandmas! And the kids loved every minute of it!
Jody's new condo is so shabby chic! We loved it!
Ross meeting his great grandma for the first time!
We had a great lunch at my grandma's house one afternoon. Sandwiches made by grandma always taste better!
Tom and Jenni hosted a dinner for the Garner side of the family one night. Bridget and Ross don't have any cousins here in Florida, so nights like these are few and far between. It's so fun seeing everyone together...(well, this isn't everyone, but a small handful at least!)
I Spy a grumpy Bridget...there's always someone unhappy about the group shot!
Bridget, Julianne & Abby
My mini-me cousin, Rebecca.
I guess you could say my Aunt Dodie and Uncle Ray live out in country...at least that's what my Florida kids would say! Horses, cows, paths in the woods, tree swings, duck ponds. Yep, we're not in Florida anymore!
Not that I would ever want to leave my Florida home, but going back to Louisville and seeing Bridget and Ross play with their cousins is so special. Bridget hasn't stopped talking about everyone since we got home. All the more reason to get up there sooner than later...maybe a fall mini-trip for some pumpkin picking and leaf pile jumping? I hope so!
